You are contracting AIC Technologies to provide website maintenance and support for a single WordPress website. The monthly cost of this service will be stated in the proposal linking to this document. Services, tasks and support not considered 'standard website maintenance and support' are subject to be charged at our regular hourly rate of $99 including GST, and will not be considered part of these terms and conditions, there is a 1-hour minimum.
What IS included in this agreement:
- Adding and updating of website content including images. All content and images must be provided by the client in a digital format such as PDF, JPEG and Docx (Microsoft Word).
- Consultation, and guidance on the use of the website.
- Onpage SEO such as Meta tags (title, description, keywords), alt tag, h1, h2, h3.
- Ongoing monitoring and monthly reporting to ensure a high standard of reliability, performance and security through transparency to the Client.
- The monthly backup of your site so that it may be restored in case of loss.
- The monthly updating of WordPress & plugins, and whenever possible the underlying theme.
- Optional website hosting, and email hosting equivalent to our standard website and email hosting plans
What is NOT included in this agreement:
- Web site redesign, re-alignment or re-development equalling more than 50% change to web page, web site, web graphics on the website (i.e. 4 graphics on website, and you want 3 changed, there is a charge for anything above 2, meaning 50%)
- CMS design or integration including but not limited to blogs, shopping carts and web forums.
- Offsite Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) such as backlink building and reputation management.
- Mailing list management, and support.
Total Agreement:
AIC Technologies shall maintain a single website while this contract remains in effect. The contract will be paid monthly with the 1st payment due as soon as the proposal is accepted, and each payment due around the date of the initial payment of each month.
The contract will remain in effect until either AIC Technologies or your entity provides notice of a cancelling of the agreement. 14 day’s notice must be provided by either party.
During the duration of this contract, your company or organisation agrees that AIC Technologies will be the primary provider of maintenance services for the web site, and no other external party will have access to or rights to change the web site without providing notice to us. If a party other than AIC Technologies makes changes to the web site, any errors that are created must be repaired and will be charged for at the hourly rate specified above. Minor updates should not exceed more than 50% of the content on any single site page, THE PERCENTAGE TO BE DETERMINED BY AIC TECHNOLOGIES.
Deadlines & Deliverables:
AIC Technologies will respond to all maintenance requests from Client within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends, via email or phone, with a confirmation that the request was received, and an estimated completion date for each action item in the request. Maintenance requests received after 14:30 AEDT may not be acknowledged and/or completed until the next business day unless prior arrangements have been made.
AIC Technologies will adhere to all quoted deadlines for the deliverables in the maintenance requests whenever possible. If AIC Technologies has any issues in delivering on a quoted deadline, Client will be notified via email or telephone the reasoning for any change.
Additional Services:
Any revisions, additions or redesign Client requests AIC Technologies to perform that is not specified in this document shall be considered "additional" and will require separate agreement and payment. AIC Technologies shall advise Client on any requested work that falls within these bounds.
Compatibility Disclaimer:
AIC Technologies will update WordPress & plugins, and whenever possible the underlying theme. When a compatibility issue occurs, and the compatibility issue cannot be resolved due to a discontinuation of one or more plugins or components of the website such as it’s theme, the website will be reverted to a backup version to resolve the issue until the Client is able to provide instructions.
The Client will then be notified and will be provided with one or more remedies. These remedies may include billable hours when the plugin or component of the website causing the issue cannot easily be substituted for an alternative of equivalent functionality.
Authorisation:
Client hereby authorises AIC Technologies to access their web hosting account, providing active user name/password combinations for access to the server via FTP, assuring that 'write permissions' are in place on the said hosting provider.
Updating of These Terms and Conditions:
As a month to month service, we reserve the right to update these terms and conditions without notice with any revised or additional terms and conditions taking effect upon the next renewal of your service with us.
